SHARDEN is the native ERC-20 token issued by Shardhash, an autonomous proof-of-work protocol deployed on Ethereum.
For Linux, macOS, and other platforms, build the miner from the source code .
Shardhash is an autonomous proof-of-work protocol deployed on Ethereum. Every Ethereum block begins a new mining round, allowing anyone to search for valid cryptographic solutions using standard CPUs or GPUs.
Mining challenges are derived deterministically from recent Ethereum block hashes, requiring no external randomness, trusted coordinator, or off-chain infrastructure. Every valid claim is verified entirely on-chain before new SHARDEN tokens are minted directly to the successful miner.
Mining is completely stateless and parallel. Miners repeatedly hash a challenge, round number, wallet address, and nonce in search of increasingly rare solutions. Solution quality is measured by the number of consecutive matching hexadecimal digits from the least significant end of the hash.
Higher-quality solutions become exponentially more difficult to discover while earning exponentially larger rewards. Each reward tier can be claimed only once per mining round, making speed of submission as important as discovering high-quality solutions.
Download the official Windows miner above to begin mining immediately. The complete protocol specification, Solidity source code, reference miner, and deployed Ethereum contracts are available through the links below.
